On June 17, 2017, at approximately 4:00 in the afternoon, Rog and I exchanged vows under the prettiest little oak tree.

After our engagement, we decided that we didn't need a year-long engagement. Our six-year journey together put everything into perspective, and we were ready to be married.

When we set our June wedding date, I'd already decided in the back of my mind that we'd probably end up getting married in a family member's backyard, and I'd probably have to sacrifice a lot of the things I'd spend the last few years imagining in my mind. I even romanticized the idea of eloping because all we really wanted was to be married, but Rog was determined to have a party. And you know what? There isn't a single thing I've thought of in the last three weeks that I regret not having or doing on that day. With the insanely helpful guidance of my mom, aunts, and bridal party, we honestly had the most perfect day.

Since I've been working full time and planning a wedding in 107 days, I've been really behind with blog updates. I promise to relive our day here, and to have fun with all of the tiny details soon.
