I've been so fortunate in my life to have always been surrounded by the greatest friends and family. When choosing the ladies that will stand by my side on my wedding day, I really didn't have to think very hard about it. Taylor, my middlest sister. Taryn, my babiest sister. Katy, my very best friend. Kourtney, my cousin and very first best friend. Nicole, fellow optometry school tag-a-long. Natasha, my future sister-in-law.

Pinterest has been full of the grandest bridesmaid proposals for years. While these aren't really my style, I still wanted to give each of them a small gift. After thinking about it for a while, I decided to give everyone my favorite tiny candle from Anthropologie.

Katy currently lives seven states away in Utah, and Nicole lives a cool seven hours away in Connecticut, so I knew I'd be mailing theirs. I picked up some small wooden boxes from Michael's for $1 a piece, as well as some ribbon and kraft paper shreddings. The cards are from Target :)

Inside the card, I jotted a quick note to each girl, as well as the URL to a bridesmaid website I created. I decided to set up a place that was easy to share photos and links with everybody, and easy for them to ask questions that everyone could see. There, I've already put together posts about how to contact each other, their dresses, our day, and more.

I really wanted to ask them in a way that reflected their sweet friendships, and I was so excited to give them these small gifts and start involving them in planning our day. One wedding project down, about a million to go :)
