Last fall, Rog was inducted into Beta Sigma Kappa, which is the International Optometric Honor Society, and last weekend, he was inducted into Phi Kappa Phi, which means that he is in the top ten percent of his program's graduating class.

Both are huge honors, and he's worked long, hard hours to earn his place in each society.  As his immediate support system here, I feel like I've earned the right to boast incessantly about his accomplishments, so brace yourselves.

This guy is so busy.  He is a board member of SVOSH, the student volunteer organization here, and they've been on a lot of small service trips since he signed up, along with a big trip coming up in a few months.  He's enrolled in the dual-degree program, so along with working toward his OD degree, he's also taking classes to graduate with a Master's degree in Public Health.

He makes sure that I'm taken care of and safe, and he always takes the time to give lots of love and attention to Olive and Posy.  With all of these extra undertakings, he's still managed to earn spots in both of these honor societies.

Words will never be able to express my pride and amazement of the things he's accomplished here, and I'm so grateful that he chose me to be by his side to experience it with him.  He deserves every little piece of good that is coming his way, and I can't wait to see what the future holds for him and his hard work.

So proud.  Always.
