For those of you who haven't heard, Boston officially broke the snowfall record.  This winter is the snowiest Boston winter on record, with over 110 inches so far!  I'm glad that we broke the record since I had to live through it, but it can be done now.  This year is also boasting the seventh-coldest March on record.  I thought that being from Buffalo would mean that I'd laugh at New England winters, but this year wins.  I'm throwing my hands up.

Needless to say, we haven't done much this winter.  We managed to take Olive to the park once this month and we made it to the New England Revolution home opener last weekend.  Otherwise, our outings have generally included restaurants or malls.  It's been way too cold.

Roger studies a crazy amount, which contributes to our boring-ness.  But I guess all of his hard work is paying off because this little scoundrel was recently inducted into the International Optometric Honor Society!  We've already framed and hung up his certificate and I couldn't be more proud of him.

We're planning to go back to Buffalo for Easter, so we're both excited to see family and be home for a couple of days.  I'm hoping the weather warms up a little bit before then, but even if it doesn't, the snow is much prettier in hay fields than it is on sidewalks :)  Regardless, I'm ready to start wearing some sundresses (I'm having a major online shopping problem this year).  Happy Spring, friends!
