It's been a few weeks since I've posted a Warm Your Space Wednesday, but I'm back and ready to go! And as is most often the case, I'm posting about more art this week.

Notice anything different about my bedroom in the photo above?  I added some frames to the mostly bare walls!  I can thank Christmas for my new additions :)

I got these two gorgeous frames from my cousin-secret-santa exchange.  She said she got them from a secondhand/thrift store, so there's a little something "wrong" with each of them, but I love them.  They have such character and I think they definitely fit in with my decor.

But anyway.  Back to the topic at hand.  Since it's our bedroom, I thought a little personalization would be nice.  I used my colored pencils (that I also received for Christmas) and freehanded some pretty monograms :)  I looked around for some inspiration online, because I was going to just create some sort of graphic and print them off, but then I decided that I'd rather it be something I made by hand, not on the computer.  Handmade fits these well-loved frames.

And since they're letters, you definitely don't have to be an artist to do it!  You can pick whatever colors you want and go to town.

Speaking of colors, remember when I bought that pretty chair-turned-nightstand and was a little bummed because the aqua didn't go with the bedroom's color scheme?  These frames fix that problem.  They incorporate some aqua along with some gold and put in the pink that fits the flower wall above the bed.

And the thing that ties it all together for me?  This Katie Daisy print that you can purchase on Etsy.  It has every color in the rainbow, along with pretty romantic flowers.  It's perfect.

I really can't appropriately capture how amazing it all looks together.  The photo below is the best I could do.  Also, that print makes me want to expand my flower wall both down to the top of the bed (after living with it for a couple months, I don't think Olive will bother it), and outwards on both sides to cover the whole wall.  Does anyone have dried flowers laying around?  I'll totally take them off your hands!  Now I just have to find something to do with that dresser nook...

Surprisingly, Roger hasn't put his foot down yet with all these flowers.  I'm going to push my luck until I can't push it anymore ;)
