We've lived in Massachusetts for a little over two months now.  I'm not kidding when I say it's rained four times since we've moved here.  That's it.  So even though the temperatures are dropping, the dryness keeps the air warmer and more enjoyable.

I've never really enjoyed fall like this before because it always means that winter is coming, and winter isn't my favorite season, by any means.  This year, I'm loving it so much more.  Maybe it's the weather or maybe it's having my own space to decorate, but it's been fun.

I talked about buying and picking gourds on my last trip home, and since my family came to visit me this weekend, they brought them to me :)  I can't resist a good ombre scheme... especially when paired with pumpkins.  Couldn't help myself.  So these are hanging out on our TV standOh, and I found a spot for my pretty aqua and gold garland :)

I picked up some dyed Baby's Breath at a local grocery store last Friday before my family got here and it looks absolutely adorable in my ceramic owl vase.  These flowers are the perfect touch on our dining room table, along with a jar of candy corn (that needs replenished) and a teeny amber berry bowl (like this one) with a pretty white gourd.

Pretty flowers...

I put a few more gourds on top of the microwave, but I'm not sure if that's where they'll stay.  I'm still deciding :)

My mom brought me one of the aqua-colored pumpkins that I was drooling over on Instagram last week.  Turns out it's a squash.  Either way, still just as pretty. I put the remaining gourds on the little ledge between the kitchen and the living room so that you can see them from both sides :)  I really love this window.  From certain angles, you can see all of my gourds at the same time!

The view from the living room is so pretty!  I can't wait to have some friends over later this week to share the festive-ness with.

And before I forget, my mom made me this awesome wreath that I hung on our front door.  She made the actual wreath and everything!  I might be crafty, but I don't hold a candle to my mom.  After Halloween, I'm going to take off the sign and the spider and it'll work all the way through Thanksgiving!

Happy Fall-idays! :)
